Lip Product Review

Hello everyone! Apologies from Lychee and I again for making you wait so long for more posts... But school  is almost over for us and summer break is coming up! Forgive us for the time being; exams and work are preventing us from updating often. However.... we haven't forgot about Dolly-Chu!

So, today I (Vivi) made a review on some lip products I've purchased just to reassure you all that we still care about our lovely readers and Dolly-Chu!

The brands are Make Up For Ever, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, Nyx, and Avon

Let's start with the Make Up For Ever Aqua Lip Pencils!
Red: 8C
Nude: 1C
Price: $18 USD

I really love these pencils, because the color lasts all day! They're waterproof so nothing budges when you drink from a cup, and there's no need to reapply the product throughout the day. I personally love using 1C for my natural every day makeup look, but I definitely recommend wearing 8C for a classic and sexy red lip.

Below is the color 1C:

Now for the OCC Lip Tars!
From right to left:
NSFW, Queen, Anime, Nylon, and Hush
Price: Around $16 USD

If you haven't heard of Lip Tars, you're really missing out! This lip product is amazing; it's vibrant, very true to its color in the packaging, and also 100% vegan and cruelty-free. The Lip Tars also come in a huge variety of colors, from shades that can be worn on a daily basis, which are available at Sephora, and even crazy colors like blue or yellow, available on the Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics website! This product really makes your lips pop, and add a refreshing burst of color to your face. These are also pretty long lasting, but not as nearly as long lasting as the Aqua Lip pencils. This product has really become a favorite for me.

So I did not want to take pictures of  the Nyx products because they were the cheapest of the bunch, quality wise, and did not show up on my lips well. As for the Avon products, they were only slightly tinted, because they are tinted lip balms. And of course, they aren't very pigmented. They do add a very nice subtle color, however, and make your lips really smooth!

I encourage you all to try at least one of these lip products, and see which ones you like! We hope you enjoyed this lip review!

With love,

Lychee and Vivi
